Buy Cheap Silky 179-39 Telescoping Landscaping Pole Saw HAYAUCHI 390 21-Feet

Buy Low Price From Here Now

A True Professional Heavy Duty Aluminum Pole Saw - the pole saw of choice by professionals. The Hayauchi pole saw has rigid aluminum poles that quickly extend to desired cutting length. The base pole has a comfortable rubber grip. The extension lock with spring loaded buttons at the end of each length. The nearly 16-inch blade not only sports the largest teeth available in a razor tooth design, but has a sharpened base and tip for scoring the branch, to avoid ripping damage to the branch collar. The upper sickle is used to cut vines; the lower one - to undercut bark allowing a clean cut without damaging the tree. The aluminum alloy extension pole is oval shaped, giving precise control to the direction of the saw blade (especially important for high cutting) and also giving strength and rigidity to the pole, reducing bending to the minimum. Push buttons allow multiple length adjustments and safety clamps hold the extensions firmly in place. A rubber hand-grip ensures good hold and control. The blade is adjustable for lower or higher cutting. Limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

"My gosh, what a fantastic saw!" 2009-06-25
By Comdet
Up until recently, I was using a pole saw/lopper combo that I bought from a big box retailer. Thought that all pole saws were pretty much the same. Boy, was I wrong!

I purchased the 21 foot version of this, and have been absolutely amazed at how well it works. First and foremost, the saw itself is incredible. Cuts through limbs like butter. It has a blade so you can score the bark to prevent tearing, and is built to minimize (actually, pretty much eliminate) having the saw get bound into the cut.. I've gone through 6+ inch branches without any problem. Just let the saw do the work, and remember that it is only cutting on the downstroke.

The pole itself is also a pleasure to use. Very lightweight, but still sturdy. It has a double locking method (a button that clicks into a hole, plus the customary friction snaps) that completely prevents the pole collapsing regardless of how rigorous you're sawing. Note, however, that it is not infinitely adjustable -- to use both methods to secure the pole, you have to fully extend each segment. Now, you can use just the friction snaps and they will hold the pole, but not as securely as using both methods.

There's another model (Hyate) that is even more advanced, with a more rigid pole and even better saw. I went with the Hayauchi for three reasons: cost, lighter weight, and (most important) the fact that you can purchase a lopper head attachment. The latter is not made by Silky, but, from what I've read so far, is of comparable quality. It only fits on the Hayauchi, so if you want to switch out the blade for a lopper, this is your only option. I have not yet purchased the lopper head, but will update this review once I have it and have used it a bit.

There's also two options for a hook. Get the hook that only works with the Hayauchi, NOT the Hook Fox. The Hayauchi-only hook attaches more securely to the pole than the Hook Fox (plus is about half the cost).

If you're looking to do some trimming without using a ladder, this tool is a must have. For me, it's paid for itself many times over already since it eliminated the need to hire a tree guy to prune the higher limbs. Plus, just like in Kill Bill, you can be armed with some fantastic Japanese steel!

 "Excellent pole saw!" 2009-05-27
By R. H. Tulis (Willington CT USA)
I purchased this saw primarily because of the good reviews and was not disappointed. I was also sold on this model because there is a lopper attachment available for the handle (a future purchase). Once I learned how to adjust the telescoping feature of the handle (so I could keep the weight closer to the ground) I found it very easy to use. Make sure to have some blade cleaner around to keep the saw clean - I've been trimming quite a few pines and the resin/sap starts accumulating quite quickly. Gets a little tiring when trimming 4"+ diameter branches on oaks, but it will get through them. Highly recommended if you intend to do a lot of high trimming.

 "trimming a large branch" 2009-02-04
By Luc (Northern NJ)
I had a large branch (8") that needed to be trimmed and it was way too high for anything else. I managed to saw the branch off without too much difficulty using the 21 ft version. The saw is very light and well constructed. It does flex quite a bit when fully extended but it did its job and now I am confident about tackling other trimming jobs that had been out of range in the past.

Proper trimming and grooming of trees and large shrubs is important to the health and appearance of your landscaping - but how do you SAFELY reach branches beyond arms' length? Unfortunately, many homeowners have learned the hard way that leaning an extension ladder against a tree can get you a not-so-free ticket to the ER. A 90" cord controls pruner jaw with spring-loaded auto-return mechanism. Razor-sharp Teflon-coated pruner blade for easier cutting action; blades can be re-sharpened and are easy to replace.  "Adjustable Telescoping Tree Pruner" 2009-07-08
By Ed Baranowski -. Woodworking (Joppa, MD USA)
I wanted a good quality tool to prune my trees and the "over hanging" limbs from my neighbor's tree. I didn't want an expensive professional trimmer since I'd be using this tool once a year. This pruner was the answer. The price would even please the late Billy Mays. It is light in weight, and breaks down for easy storage in the garden shed. One customer wrote that he broke the cord when he first used the pruner. I have to caution that.. the tool will only cut through a 1" to a 2" efficiently. I used the pruner blade for oversize branches with no extra effort. I liked the twist lock telescoping metal pole that extends the unit into a 7 foot reach range (higher if you use a step ladder like I did) My only reason not to give 5 stars is that I find it hard to locate replacement pruner blades for this model. If anyone has any idea where to look, please leave a comment reply.

 "pole saw" 2009-03-29
By Habu` (rhode island)
very pleased with this product,it was not only delivered in time estimated; used it on a bunch of branches and the saw was exceptional! I had a pole saw with wooden handle and it was heavy, unwieldy and tiring. this pole is lite weight, extends longer,etc.. a ten star product as far as I'm concerned. the price was another factor-cheaper than others I saw at home stores and online..Thank You...tz

 "Works on cattails." 2009-11-22
By J. Florence (New Smyrna Beach, Fl)
We purchased our home on a community pond because of the fantastic view from each of our rooms and the lanai. However, by the time construction was finished, the view was completely blocked by a dense growth of cattails. After seeing a Fiskar's 6' Pruning Stick at a local ACE hardware I checked reviews and discovered there is a 12' stick available. My direct inquiry to Fiskar's to see if they would recommend the stick for cattails was answered quickly and positively. Amazon's price was the best and delivery was quick. My family and neighbors all doubted it would work. But the day I got out there and started "clearing" they were right out there wanting to take turns using it. If you have cattails I would highly recommend this pruning stick to you. Being short in stature, I found it helpful to have someone pulling the knob while I positioned the head over the reeds in the water.

 "broken" 2009-09-15

I don't really know how well this tool functions yet. It arrived broken. I have been working with the manufacturer on repair/replacement for well over 2 weeks. Repair part is supposed to be on the way. I will have to make the repair once the part arrives. If what I am experiencing appeals to you buy it otherwise be careful.

This product is amazing. Cuts through branches 1.25 to 1.5 inches with ease. I have used many, many pole pruners and this is superior to them all. Light weight and well balanced to boot.

The Fiskars Telescoping Pruning Stik is exactly what I needed. The trees around my house are becoming over grown and this stik makes it easy to trim the branches and saw off bigger limbs. The blades stay sharp and work very well. It made cleaning up the yard much easier. I highly recommend this product.
