It's not perfect but works well. Great for pruning and trimming larger branches - not that large though. Smaller branches will definitely end up splintered. Pays for itself if I consider that a professional arborist charges $200/day to prune and trim my trees.

Not too heavy and no cord to drag around makes this an idea Electric Pole Chain Saw. Only problem is the battery doesn't last long enough to complete a days job without recharging. Need an additional battery to have on charge so can switch and keep on working. :)

This pole saw has good reach and is easy to wield without having herculean strength. The only problem is the batteries do not last long. Maybe 2 cuts on a 7"D tree. I have 3 batteries from the other pole products which helps. I would not buy this product unless you had other batteries as it may take weeks to complete your project just charging batteries. It only really sticks when it is running low on juice, so just change your batteries at that time. I have little to compare this too not owning a gas powered saw, but I just cannot stand the fumes from them so here I am.

I received the pole saw in two days from ordering it. I have used it for about 5 hours so far clearing over hanging limbs on the road to my home. I was really impressed with the battery life and the speed the saw cut the branches. I have three other batteries but I was ready to take a break when the battery needed changing. The battery lasted about 40 minutes of run time. I would highly recommend this pole saw. Well worth the money.

This is the best yard tool I have ever purchased. Works even better than expected. I am a woman, 45+ years of age and have NO problem balancing the chain saw, even with both extensions connected! Perfect balance. Little chain saw is not that heavy and yet cut through some fairly large branches (5-6"). Battery lasts about 30-35 minutes, so - not a bad idea to have a second battery for longer branch trimming sessions (about an hour is enough for me!) VERY happy with this tool - I have since purchased the B&D 18v blower and string-trimmer to complete my yard tool set (and the 18v B&D batteries can be shared!)
