 "cutter for trees" 2009-10-04

lucky to get a year out of this.. rope tears or doesnt fit on pully after about 4-5 uses, makes it slow to use as you have to keep repositioning the rope.

 "great product" 2009-06-29
By Sherri L. Walker
I love my pruner! I have been able to get rid of all the dead branches from my oak trees, no more sticks all over the yard and I am trimming my black walnut tree down to a more manageable size. Getting branches that hang over the yard and are a safety hazard down, so that the kids are safe to play.

"Great pruner for the price" 2007-12-13

I found that this is a great pruner for the price. If you are not able to prune, the saw takes minimal effort.

"Pole came apart and easily jams" 2007-12-12
By dmeister
The shear jams easily and is difficult to free once it jams.

The pole clamp is poorly designed. It clamps to the outer telescoping tube instead of being glued, which allows the outer tube to easily separate from the clamp because the outer telescoping tube is thin and will not withstand much clamping force and the clamp is made from slick plastic.

I spent so much time freeing jams and trying to keep the pole together that I discarded it after three uses. It was not worth the frustration.

Fiskars may make good scissors but they make a lousy pole saw.
